You Smell So Good (aka Jackie and Roy) is the first album by the duo Jackie Caine (1928-2014) and Roy Kral (1921-2002) released under their own name (and one of their best). It showcases their full range of styles: wordless scat on some tunes, lyrical playing on others, as well as an emphasis on Jackie's talents on certain ballads, where Kral mostly limits himself to piano accompaniment. The rest of the band includes Barney Kessel, Red Mitchell, and Shelly Manne.
