Realistic, the debut album by New York indie rock band Ivy, was released on February 14, 1995. Produced by the band and Kurt Ralske of Ultra Vivid Scene, the sparse indie pop was only a taste of what the band would achieve. The album garnered rave reviews on both sides of the Atlantic. It enabled the band to open for Oasis on their first US trip and tour extensively with Edwin Collins and Lloyd Cole.
