Combining both Cuban and American musicians, the carefully selected group consists of Orlando 'Cachaíto' López on double bass, Manuel Galbán on electric guitar, piano and organ, Chucho Valdés on piano, and Miguel 'Angá' Díaz on congas, to whom are added Ry Cooder on guitars, veteran rocker Jim Keltner on drums, and Joachim Cooder on percussion.
