From The Void

Since forming Hammock in 2003, Byrd and Thompson have released 12 critically-acclaimed albums and are renowned for their unique knack for giving inexpressible emotions a tangible voice. From the Void is an extension of 2023’s genre-defying Love in the Void. Hammock’s Marc Byrd explains, “We had four songs that we had considered for Love in the Void, but they didn’t feel quite finished. Upon revisiting them, we decided they deserved to come to life because of how they made us feel. Additionally, we decided to create four new pieces of music inspired by LITV. By adding these tracks and pulling them from the void, we’ve created what we feel is a bridge between LITV and our next album, as well as a beautiful collection of music in its own right.”
