"L'homme à la cagoule" as I call him, is Grégory Porter. This gentleman, quite young for a jazz singer, delivers here a song of a very particular intensity that caught my full attention. A bit like facing someone who doesn't speak often, you just want to listen from the beginning to the end of the piece, and let yourself be carried away by the melody, then by the voice... Then everything harmonizes as rarely the voice accompanies the piano, the piano accompanies the voice...
