The origin of this song dates back to Ghost's concert on November 16, 2018, at the Forum in Los Angeles. Ryan Turek, Vice President of Feature Film Development at Blumhouse Productions, attended the show. He immediately connected with GHOST's Tobias Forge – a connection that quickly and deeply developed through meetings, podcast appearances, and eventually a visit with co-writer and director David Gordon Green on the set of Halloween Kills.
