Description

Gentleman's Dub Club returns this spring with the album Dubtopia, and a clear and unmistakable intention to bring a ray of sunshine. The band offers its listeners a cathartic liberation from a world filled with stress, injustice, and hypocrisy, like a musical bubble separated from daily life, designed for gathering and celebration. The nine members of the Leeds band, Jonathan Scratchley (vocals), Tommy Evans (drums), Luke Allwood (keyboards), Nick Tyson (guitar), Toby Davies (bass, synth), Niall Lavelle (percussion), Matt Roberts (trumpet), Kieren Gallagher (saxophone), and Harry Devenish (sound) all actively participated in the creation of this new album, from the rehearsal studio to the mixing board. Dubtopia also features appearances by Taiwan MC, Lady Chann, Parly B & Eva Lazarus. Fans of the band will be pleasantly surprised by the warmth emanating from this new album, as it features the same energy that characterizes their concerts!
