Gary Numan's 'Telekon', his second album released in 1980, marked his third consecutive number 1 entry on the UK Official Albums Chart. Gary Numan considers this album, along with its predecessors – Tubeway Army's 'Replicas' and 'The Pleasure Principle', his first solo album – as the "machine" phase of his career. 'Telekon', unlike the other two works, stands out with the presence of numerous guitars, in addition to lush synthesizer and string textures. To celebrate the album's 45th anniversary, Arkive is releasing an extended version of the album featuring 4 bonus tracks, including 'Like A B-Film', a completely unreleased track from the Telekon recording sessions.
