Euch’Mau Noir bis

Description

Galibot is a melodic black metal band – but it is also the name given to children sent to work in the mining pits of Northern France. And for good reason, the quintet hails from there. At the beginning of 2026, the band is releasing an alternative version of their first opus titled "Euch'Mau Noir bis," signed with Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Productions. Initiated in 2023 by Thomas, Agathe, and Clément, the initially studio-based project aims to draw a parallel between the dark, raw, and visceral substance of coal and black metal music. Wallers-Arenberg, the name of the town where this project was born and which bears the scars of this mining industry, will be the demo for what was then just a trio. It was after the release of their first album "Euch'Mau Noir" that Galibot considered a live experience, and so Julian and Rob joined the band. This collaboration ultimately led them to co-write their second album, this time as a quintet, set to be released next May by Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Productions. Galibot will also be touring to offer a cavernous, fiery, and ash-filled live experience.
