Driven by a thirst for adventure inherited from her mother, Flavia Coelho arrived in Paris, the city of her dreams, in 2006. Just as she was starting to make a name for herself in Brazil, Flavia started completely from scratch. Under the guidance of Cameroonian guitarist and bassist Pierre Bika Bika and multi-talented producer Victor-Attila Vagh, Flavia released her first album "Bossa Muffin" in 2011 and embarked on a never-ending tour. This was the beginning of a joyful fireworks display where she won the Génération Réservoir springboard award, received the Women in Gold music revelation trophy, opened for Gilberto Gil at Les Nuits de Fourvière, sold out the Nouveau Casino and La Cigale, was remixed by Elisa Do Brazil, DJ Ordoeuvre and DJ Kayalik from Massilia Sound System, charmed the English press from The Guardian to The Times, recorded a duet with Gari Greù for the official song of Marseille-Provence, and found herself played on the Champ de Mars on July 14! Surrounded by Patrice, Tony Allen, Speech from Arrested Development, Fixi & l'Ultra Bal and Woz Kaly, she unfolds her inner world like a vast and colorful urban map. Flavia builds new sonic textures on the memory of the entire Brazilian musical culture, singing about the beauty but also the dangers of her native country.
