Complete remastering from the original analog tapes* (*With the use of the Plangent process already noted during the reissue of the first seven albums by Bruce Springsteen). 24-page booklet with rare photos and presentation texts signed by the famous jazz critic Dan Morgenstern and the great pianist Geri Allen. It was in Carmel, California, on September 19, 1955, that Erroll Garner (1921 - 1977), a self-taught and virtuoso pianist, benefited from a 'Live' recording - on a makeshift tape recorder - of which no one could foresee that it would become "Concert By The Sea," an essential album in the history of jazz. From its release in 1956, both the public and the critics were immediately won over by the lightness and brilliance of this flamboyant tribute to the great standards of American music. It became in 1958, with nearly a million copies sold, the biggest record sale - before "Kind Of Blue" by Miles Davis and "Time Out" by Dave Brubeck - in the history of jazz. Two new CDs including the entire original concert (recently discovered - with eleven completely unreleased tracks as well as an interview conducted after the concert) complete the original album.
