The legendary jazz pianist brings us a new discographic event! After the huge success of the reissue "The Complete Concert by The Sea," discover Erroll Garner through 14 completely new interpretations recorded in the studio between 1967 and 1971, including six previously unreleased compositions recently discovered! Recorded during a particularly prolific period for Erroll Garner, these 14 completely new tracks - after spending nearly 50 years on acetate records - have been recently discovered and restored. Erroll Garner (1921 - 1977), surrounded by his usual collaborators [Jimmie Smith and Joe Cocuzzo (drums), Ernest McCarty, Jr., Ike Isaacs, and George Duvivier (bass), Jose Mangual (percussion)] delivers take after take some of the most beautiful interpretations of his career. We also hear Martha Glaser, his loyal manager and producer, who from the control room discusses the different takes and jokes with Erroll. A sort of fifth member of the quartet, she supports Erroll during these intense moments of creation. The album title is attributed to her recurring phrase at the beginning of each piece: "Ready? Take One."
