Six months after the release of the critically acclaimed EP "Jazz Contenders," the trio Emile Londonien returns with their debut album "Legacy"; the fruit of improvisations and reflections on the question of modern jazz. Beyond the group's musical influences (jazz, broken beat, house), this album features prestigious collaborations such as Kuna Maze, Léon Phal, and the brilliant Emile Parisien, a prominent and iconic saxophonist of the French jazz scene. This debut album is the purest product of OMEZIS's creation, a Strasbourg collective and fertile artistic ground from which EMILE LONDONIEN emerged. The result of improvisations and reflections on the question of today's jazz, LEGACY offers a contextual discourse: playing with time and in its time while laying the foundations for a reflection that considers music as a conversation with History.
