RCA/Legacy Recordings will release on August 10th "Where No One Stands Alone," the new album by Elvis Presley, an opus paying tribute to his love of gospel. This release coincides with the 41st anniversary of the artist's passing. As every year, his fans and loved ones will pay tribute to him at Graceland, during a week of celebrations from August 9th to 18th. The album is produced by Joel Weinshanker, Lisa Marie Presley, and Andy Childs. It contains reorchestrated versions made with artists who worked with Elvis on stage or in the studio, including Darlene Love (NBC TV Special in 1968) and Dr. Cissy Houston who accompanied Elvis since 1969 alongside the Sweet Inspirations. This new album also features a virtual duet with his daughter Lisa Marie Presley on the title track that also shares the album's name. "Where No One Stands Alone" contains 14 songs from Elvis's gospel repertoire. Among these recordings are classics dear to the artist: "Crying In The Chapel," "How Great Thou Art," "You'll Never Walk Alone," "Saved" (written by Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller), "So High," "Stand By Me," "In The Garden," and "Amazing Grace."
