Steeped in 90s rock, Alex (Zenzile, Glass), Ben (Last Time Voodoo), Cam and Etienne (Daria, L.A.N.E) broke away from their respective bands to form Do Not Machine in 2018. Based in Angers, the band delivers music alternating between slow heavy-pop and turbulent indie-rock, with a strong penchant for melodic flights steeped in thick fuzz! A bit like Torche colliding head-on with The National, or Mudhoney shaking up Mogwai... After a first album 'Heart beat nation' released in 2020, the Angers quartet restarted the machine for nine songs recorded and produced by Camille Belin (the drummer) and the band itself in Angers, before entrusting the mix to J.Robbins (Jawbox, Clutch, Against Me) at Magpie Cage Studio (Baltimore, USA) and mastering to Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio (NYC, USA). - - This album features nine songs of 'fuzz with melodies' as the band likes to summarize, coupling post-hardcore and melancholic atmospheres. 'Celebrations of the end' is above all nine songs as an outlet for this indie band, nine celebrations of the end, in response to their first album released in the midst of the Covid crisis, which didn't live up to its potential!
