Originally released in September 2024, we are continuing the reissue of Clark's recent catalog with the arrival of limited vinyl versions of In Camera. Since his first composition credit in 2016 for The Last Panthers (Warp), Clark has built a reputation for transforming his film and TV soundtracks into veritable soundscapes, complex and exhilarating. Here, he develops his music for Naqqash Khalid's award-winning debut feature, In Camera, extending the surreal atmosphere of this "modern fairy tale" with reversed vocals and ethereal, synth-pop-like chords. Regarding the recording process, Clark explains: "Using my voice but abstracting it in a way that perfectly suited the film was the most unique challenge. I was just going to include the soundtrack tracks, but I got carried away with new compositions that stuck to the film's tone and emotion. The record has a very distinct color/atmosphere, imbued with contained joy and dark euphoria."
