Reissue of a rare 1988 LP by the great Chet Baker. This is the last recording by the legendary Chet Baker. The producer of NDR radio in Hamburg (who had joined Chet in a Hamburg jazz club as a drummer many years ago, which was an unforgettable experience for him) had asked Chet what his favorite project would be, carte blanche. Well, he replied that he would love to record with a quintet of good friends, a big jazz band and a symphony orchestra. All were provided and the result is a breathtaking event.
