Guitarists Julia Shapiro and Lydia Lund, bassist Annie Truscott, and drummer Gretchen Grimm are the four friends who make up CHASTITY BELT, a rock band from Washington State. They met in a small university town, but their career truly began in Seattle. After several concerts and positive audience feedback, CHASTITY BELT released their debut album, No Regrets, in 2013 under the Help Yourself label. They return with their second album: Time To Go Home under the Hardly Art/Sub Pop label. Still marked by post-punk influence, their new tracks are now more melancholic. The recording took place with José Díaz Rohena at The Unknown, a disused church and former sail factory in Anacortes, and the mixing was done by Matthew Simms.
