8 years after "Paradise Filter" The legendary progressive rock band from Canterbury releases its new studio album.
Caravan is the iconic progressive rock band of the "Canterbury scene." Formed in 1968, it blends rock, jazz, folk, and classical influences. Pye Hastings (guitar/vocals and founding member) remains the guide and main songwriter of Caravan. Geoffrey Richardson (alto, mandolin, guitar) first played with Caravan between 1972 and 1981 and returned home in 1995. Jan Schelhaas (keyboards) and Mark Walker (drums) complete the band with Lee Pomeroy (ELO, Rick Wakeman) invited as bassist, while Jimmy Hastings has also been invited to play the flute. 'It's None Of Your Business' is Caravan's first album since 'Paradise Filter' (2013) and includes 9 tracks plus an instrumental piece influenced by the events and restrictions imposed on society over the last 18 months. The album was recorded, as restrictions allowed, "the old-fashioned way" between June 24 and July 4, 2021, at Rimshot Studio, Bredgar near Sittingbourne.
