Drummer and composer Booker Stardrum presents his new solo album, Close-up On The Outside (February 27, 2026), a powerful and unprecedented work, his first on We Jazz Records. On this record, Stardrum (also a member of SML) forcefully explores the tactile and organic dimension of sound and human communication, while venturing into rich electroacoustic landscapes. The album brings together Stardrum's close collaborators: Anna Butterss, Jeremiah Chiu, Chris Williams, Lester St. Louis, Logan Hone and Michael Coleman.
