Like "Weather Alive," critically acclaimed in 2022, Orton self-produced this album, staying true to the collective spirit of live performance while sculpting and developing, over the course of a year, the record we hear today. By collaborating with trusted musicians, including multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily, Sam Beste from Vernon Spring, drummers Chris Vatalaro (Antibalas, Radiohead) and Vishal Nayak (Nick Hakim), trumpeter Christos Styliandes, and bassist Tom Herbert, Orton reaches new heights as a producer and songwriter.
