Born in Poland in 1991 and mentored by Nergal, Behemoth evolved from atmospheric black metal to a more extreme and brutal metal. Their fourth album, "Satanica", released in 1999, is a masterpiece of obscure death metal. Recorded at Starcraft Stimulation studios and produced by Nergal, it features 8 tracks of technical riffs, swirling drums, and inhuman vocals. Behemoth is undeniably one of the leading bands in the death metal scene, with an impressive catalog and growing mastery of the genre. To mark the album's 25th anniversary, Peaceville has re-pressed this album in a limited edition of 80 copies in France.
