With Microtonic, bdrmm reinvents shoegaze at the crossroads of electronics. Bdrmm's new album "Microtonic," recorded with Alex Greaves and featuring contributions from Syd Minsky-Sargeant (Working Men's Club) and Olivesque (Nightbus), marks a bold turning point for the band. Ryan confides: "I felt constrained by a certain style, but now I feel freer to create what I want, influenced by various electronic styles, from dance to ambient." While retaining the shoegaze imprint that inspired the current scene, "Microtonic" broadens the band's sonic spectrum.
