2nd ALBUM OF THE RENNAIS RAPPER Arm burst onto the French rap scene 15 years ago, his 1st album released under the name Psykick Lyrikah earned him critical acclaim, but also the label of an intellectual rap. A label that found its glue in a unique writing style, which sometimes flirted with spoken word. After 7 albums as Psykick Lyrikah, ARM launched under his own name, first with TEPR for the album Psaumes then in 2017 with his first solo album, The guiding line of Codé, this new album, was a soundtrack for an imaginary film with lyrics that moved away from the omnipresent codes of rap, everywhere, all the time. The original soundtrack remained. But on top of the rhythms, some reflections of songs were gradually added under large layers of strings and (rare) choruses followed by long instrumental passages. But in the end, rap came back: it was a bit naive to believe that one could turn their back on it. It just moved again. The imaginary film, in the background, also remained.
