Description

Two prodigious artists from different generations sign their first collaboration with an album dedicated to one of the greatest monuments of classical music: Franz Schubert. Violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of her career in 2016, and the young and already virtuosic pianist Daniil Trifonov, join forces with three former students of the Mutter Foundation from Baden-Baden Festspielhaus: Hwayoon Lee, Maximilian Hornung, and Roman Patkoló, to perform 'The Trout' in quintet. In this album, they also explore the famous 'Notturno', his most beautiful piece for violin, cello, and piano, as well as the arrangements of his works Ständchen and Ave Maria for violin and piano.
