A true master of the Sarod (North Indian lute), Amjad Ali Khan comes from a long line of Indian musicians. Recognized in his native India, he quickly introduced his music to the United States, participating in a series of performances in 1963 that marked the beginning of his international career. In the mid-2000s, the artist collaborated with Peter Gabriel's label (Real World), and in 2005, 'Moksha' was released.
