A box set compiling live performances by free jazz visionary, Albert Ayler. Each of the 4 LPs highlights some of the most memorable moments from this European tour, revealing Ayler and his musicians at the peak of their artistry. This box set includes concerts given in Berlin, Lorrach, Stockholm, and Paris, all recorded within the space of two weeks. Ayler's band for this tour consisted of his brother Donald on trumpet, Michel Samson on violin, William Folwell on double bass, and Beaver Harris on drums. These performances have been remastered for vinyl by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering. The box set also contains a 30 x 60 cm fold-out booklet with liner notes by John Litweller and photos from the tour.
