In June 1964, Grant Green recorded his flamboyant post-bop session for *Solid*, an album unreleased until 1979, as Blue Note was having success with the guitarist's soul jazz productions at the time. Green expands his playing within an ultramodern sextet featuring Joe Henderson, James Spaulding, McCoy Tyner, Bob Cranshaw, and Elvin Jones. Blue Note Classic Vinyl stereo edition, all-analog, mastered by K. Gray from the original tapes and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
