14 unreleased tracks by French rap artists listened to in the Bendo and widely approved by the streets. The multi-artist compilation BENDE showcases the new street artists of French rap to watch in 2017. BENDE opens with the track "Embrasse-les" by Marseille’s Naps, riding high on his previous hit "Pochon bleu". With "Traffic", the rising talent from Barbès, Guy2bezbar, marks the emergence of a certain new Paris rap scene. Half of the duo PSE Thug, the young rapper Leto from the 17th arrondissement (Paris) drops "Envoie les euros" for us. We then head back down to Marseille alongside Graya, whom we discovered alongside Alonzo on "Capo Dei Capi" or on the music inspired by the film "Chouf". Babarr, a rapper with a deep, cavernous voice who made a name for himself through a series of freestyles dropped from his detention cell, takes over with the track "Bendo". "Du Lundi au Dimanche" is an unprecedented combination between Le Saz and Kazmi (Mikamikaz), whose buzz accelerated with his appearance on Lartiste’s latest album. We then discover the track "Ta mère" by Marseille’s Loubar. A versatile rapper who calls himself "the chameleon", Jarod invites Guy2bezbar on "Campagne", a more festive track. Close to the former MZ, Chich delivers effective trap with "On est dans le bat". Babarr and Guy2bezbar go head-to-head on "Millions". "Heja" is a hardcore combination between the rapper from Epinay-sur-Seine Gryzly v02x and the rapper from Aubervilliers Mamen Myck. Then it’s the collective 4Keus Gang, from the Cité des 4000 in La Courneuve, who lets the pressure off with the afro-trap track "Keblole". The duo Z17 from the 17th arrondissement of Paris offers the track "La zone" with its sung chorus but very dark mood. BENDE concludes with "Gang Gang" by the collective of 4 rappers from the 13th arrondissement, Etoile du 75. Welcome to this musical journey from the North to the South of France through BENDE!
