Since some time, Lance Lopez has been making headlines by shining brilliantly as a singer/guitarist within Supersonic Blues Machine. But before finding success by joining this "super group," this true Texan had already released a few solo albums that smelled of southern U.S. blues rock.
"Tell The Truth," his new solo effort, fits into this lineage but with the experience gained over the years as well. Lance has never denied his passion for his early influences such as Bobby “Blue” Bland, Buddy Miles, Johnny Taylor, or even Lucky Peterson, with whom he played when he was only 18 years old. What a journey it has been since that time. Since his beginnings, Lopez has always wanted to live his life as a musician to the fullest, and each composition of this new album reflects the countless miles he has traveled on the road with his guitar in hand.
