A Hard Road captures John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in 1967 with Peter Green on guitar, successor to Eric Clapton. "The Stumble", "Someday After A While" and the title track blend British blues, swing and highly refined solos. This generous edition extends the album with numerous bonus tracks, documenting a key period before the birth of Fleetwood Mac.
