The Boston duo 7L & Esoteric collaborated in 1999 with Inspectah Deck, a pillar of the Wu-Tang Clan, which propelled their career on the East Coast and beyond. 14 years later, their taste for effective rhythms and devastating lyrics is still intact. So here is CZARFACE, the uncompromising album by Inspectah Deck and 7L & Esoteric. An album worthy of the noblest history of Hip Hop, featuring as guests some of the pillars of the contemporary “historical channel”: Roc Marciano, Action Bronson, Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks), Oh No (Gangrene), Mr. MFN eXquire and the Wu-Tang Clan associates: Ghostface Killah and Cappadonna. Entirely produced by DJ 7L, with the exception of one track produced by the legendary DJ Premier, the album combines the best of 80s rap and R&B sounds with current sounds, sometimes even rock. Beautifully illustrated by Lamour Supreme, the CD is presented in a digipack edition
