Godflesh has a reputation as an innovator in the world of music, a pioneer of the industrial genre, hypnotic and austere.
Formed in Birmingham in 1988 by Justin Broadrick (ex-guitarist of Napalm Death) and Christian Green on bass, the simplicity of the line-up underscores its extreme character, with the use of a drum machine live and multiple appearances by special guests.
Selfless is their 3rd studio album, hailed upon its release in 1994 as a masterpiece of metal.
