Following the 2015 release of Flying Saucer Attack’s album Instrumentals, Domino is preparing to reissue three albums by the cult band! In the early 90s, David Pearce’s group managed to renew and transcend a genre initiated in the 70s by Fairport Convention, Roy Harper and John Martyn (British electric folk), by incorporating influences as varied as Krautrock, drone, ambient and dub. Beyond the noise and feedback, Flying Saucer Attack’s melodies encourage the listener to explore, across these three albums, territories hitherto unknown. This trilogy also opens up new horizons by initiating the post-rock movement.
