Australian pop dynamite. In addition to having signed to one of the hottest labels on the indie scene, namely Infectious Music (Alt-J, Drenge, Superfood, These New Puritans), the Australian trio from Sydney has the ability to write songs ready to be played live straight away and recorded perfectly in record time. This 6-track self-titled mini-album manages to draw us into their world from the very first listen. It is a pleasure to listen to, carried by these pop and melancholic ballads, not unlike the glory days of Oasis. The very promising Feels Like 37 stands out and is highly likely to be on repeat this summer, as does the tender So We Know, which gently closes the album, carried by the sublime voice of Tommy O'Dell, accompanied by Johnny Took and Matt Mason on guitar.
