Here is the fourth volume in the 'Prism' series in which the Danish String Quartet continues to highlight the way the brilliance of Bach’s fugues is refracted in Beethoven’s quartets to ultimately illuminate the works of later composers. Here the quartet follows the prismatic metamorphoses of the light emitted by Johann Sebastian Bach’s Fugue in G minor BWV 861 through Ludwig Van Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 15 and Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet No. 2.
