Between soft rock and languorous pop, Ari Roar unveils a captivating debut album. Ari Roar, the stage name of Texan singer-songwriter Caleb Campbell, presents his first album titled Calm Down. A clear and concise album that draws from 1960s pop and modern heroes to form a languorous whole. Ari Roar elaborates on his experiences in detail over melodies that demonstrate the author's confidence in his message. Lasting 28 minutes and with tracks rarely exceeding two minutes, Calm Down is not a pretentious album. The track 'Called In' combines two of his influences: garage-pop and Grandaddy, while the bright 'Windowsill' and the nonsensical narrative of 'Lost and Found' reveal the narrative touch that Ari Roar brings to control the atmosphere of these songs. He also likes to add touches of psychedelia to his tracks to convey other ranges of emotions. FOR THOSE WHO LIKE The Zombies, Frankie Cosmos, Grandaddy, Elliot Smith
