Description

The original songs of Viktor Tsoi and Zoopark, performed and re-recorded by the Zveri group (which includes actor Roman Zver), inhabit the film and testify to a generation for whom creation and music were the only guides. Roman Zver and German Osipov, the film's music producers, said about this: "We needed to play authentically and be attentive to the sound they had in the 80s, to the conditions in which musicians lived at the time, to their equipment and their performances." The soundtrack includes covers of Kino (Viktor Tsoi's group) and classics by Talking Heads, Lou Reed, or Iggy Pop by the Zveri Group, but also tracks from the Velvet Underground or even David Bowie.
