After three years away from the studios, Zazie returns with the surprising title "Speed" on May 24th. A crescendo like we haven't heard in a long time, and a touching text addressed to her heart weakened by life.
Author and leading composer of French song, it is with Edith Fambuena that she crafted Essenciel, between her Parisian studio and the Ferber studios. With their third accomplice, the keyboardist Alexis Anerilles, time was not counted. This intense feeling of freedom is found in Essenciel, whose twelve tracks refuse, according to Zazie's good habits, to fit into any box. From Pink Floyd to Radiohead, from Peter Gabriel to Gesaffelstein, passing through disco, the singer's influences nourish a "aquatic and electric" music, and marry the acoustic and the synthetic with breathtaking ease.
