Concert à  Tokyo

Description

The year 1977 marked a turning point in Yves Simon's life and career. He completed a flawless five-year journey that established him as an essential artist of the new French scene. It was during this year that he would write the biggest hit of his career, "Diabolo Menthe", the soundtrack to Diane Kurys' film, a huge popular success. He also performed concerts at a frenetic pace in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, and Japan. Yves Simon decided to take a break from an already very rich, but exhausting, career. Without abandoning music, he decided to leave the stage. This live album recorded in Tokyo is therefore a testament, featuring tracks such as: "Raconte toi", "Manhattan", "Les héros de Barbès", "Le joueur d'accordéon", and the unmissable "Au pays des merveilles de Juliet".
