YOUNG FATHERS is an Edinburgh-based trio composed of members from varied backgrounds: Alloysious Massaquoi, of Liberian origin, Kayus Bankole, born to Nigerian parents, and 'G' Hastings, who comes from Northern Scotland. From this diversity, they draw a wide range of influences as well as a strong penchant for mixing genres. Dead, the band's first studio album, is the fascinating result of these mixtures and experiments: a hybrid and unique sound that has already garnered enthusiasm from artists as prestigious as DAVID BYRNE, DIPLO, GHOSTPOET, and ALT J.
