Youn Sun Nah has sold over 150,000 albums in France in the last six years! A true phenomenon! Four years after Lento, her last gold record, Youn Sun Nah makes her grand return to stores with She Moves On. To create this new album, the Korean singer went to record at Sear Sound studio in New York with an entirely new lineup. What a pleasure to reunite with Youn and her unique voice! This album is the result of a true adventure that was written with the help of four musicians as singular as they are talented. The producer, pianist, and keyboardist Jamie Saft, known for his close collaboration with John Zorn, and a great lover of voices. The versatile bassist Brad Jones, heard alongside Ornette Coleman and Elvis Costello. The subtle drummer Dan Rieser, companion of Norah Jones in the band The Little Willies. Finally, the guitarist Marc Ribot who brings his unique playing to five songs. Surrounded by these four personalities, Youn Sun Nah explores a varied repertoire that draws from both rock and folk, rhythms and lyrics, through covers of Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Lou Reed, and the traditional Black is The Color Of My True Love's Hair. Three original compositions, Traveller, Evening Star, and Too Late, complete this album resolutely inspired by American music.
