Hold Me Down

The first album by You Me At Six, "Hold Me Down", was released on Virgin Records in January 2010, following the success of their debut album "Take Off Your Colors". The album that made their reputation appears for the first time on vinyl, pressed on high-quality 180g vinyl. You Me At Six was formed in Weybridge, Surrey in 2004 by singer Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, and bassist Matt Barnes, whose name is an acronym for the time they met. Drummer Dan Flint joined the band in 2007. Their first breakthrough came at the Slam Dunk Festival 2007 with their blend of heavy and melodic rock with an emo touch, and after two self-produced singles, the band signed with Slam Dunk Records. In 2010, they signed with Virgin. In collaboration with producers John Mitchell and Matt O'Grady, the band developed 12 new songs for "Hold Me Down", including the singles "Kiss And Tell", "Underdog" and "Liquid Confidence", which were released at the Kerrang! Awards 2010 for Best Single.
