Yo No Se are back after a 5-year hiatus since their last album, 'Soma'. Their new album 'Terraform' continues the dystopian world created in 'Soma', but this time it's a journey into the stars. 'Terraform' explores the idea of starting anew on another planet, but the same problems creep in... Greed, corruption, and hatred. The band recorded with Dom Mitchison (as well as Alex on guitars and vocals at home), mixed with Ali Chant, and mastered with the godfather of grunge, Jack Endino. The band toured across Europe to support 'Soma' over the past five years and gained a reputation for their loud and energetic live shows. The album features 3 drummers and countless breakdowns on the road. With the pandemic hitting just as the band started touring, they had plenty of time to finally record (and find another drummer). 'Terraform' is a record that took five years to make, through sheer bad luck. Hopefully, their luck will turn, as the band is already working on their next album. The first single "Black Door" addresses the corruption of 'leaders'. The idea came from Boris Johnson, who pushed Brexit to further his own career without thinking about the impact it would have on people's lives. We've had enough and we're ready to tear down the establishment. The idea is that the problems we face today will follow us wherever we go if we don't eradicate them here on Earth. The cover art is by renowned sci-fi artist Bruce Pennington.
