Founded in Brussels by brothers Yvan and Alban Murenzi, YellowStraps has been crafting a hybrid neo-soul for almost 10 years that caresses the senses and confounds perceptions, validated by the vibrant Belgian rap scene.
After critically and fan-acclaimed Colors and Grünt sessions, the duo became a solo act (Alban left, Yvan stayed) and broke free from their previous framework without abandoning their DNA. YellowStraps went into overdrive. After MERCI, headown and tnght, as well as other singles released in 2022, came the highly anticipated first album 'tentacle' in early 2023, on which YellowStraps collaborated with Sofiane Pamart, Roméo Elvis, Swing, and more.
