Brooklyn art-rock group Yeasayer, who have, over the course of their previous albums, gone through a mix of krautrock and worldbeat, synthetic pop their way, and avant-garde electronica, are back with a fourth album! *Amen & Goodbye* follows *Fragrant World*, released in 2012. Moving away from an all-digital approach, YEASAYER recorded their latest project to tape at Outlier Inn studio in upstate New York, then invited Joey Waronker (drummer - Atoms For Peace / Beck / R.E.M.) to deconstruct everything to get the final result. This new album features the band's characteristic sound, but it's unlike anything the band has ever done before. Its musicians have thus created a collection of strange fables drawn from the Bible of a universe that does not yet exist.
