Xenosaga -Episode I- is an RPG designed by the famous Tetsuya Takahashi (Monolith Soft) released in 2002 on PlayStation 2. The original soundtrack composed by Yasunori Mitsuda is still considered an essential monument of video game music over 20 years later. We wanted to pay tribute to these cult tracks with Across the Kosmos ~ Xenosaga Piano Collection, which is an album of officially licensed arrangements featuring the best pieces from the game. This album is entirely created in collaboration with top-level talents from today's Japanese video game music scene.
