Description
With "Fils de personne," Yarol Poupaud pays tribute to Johnny Hallyday, for whom he was guitarist and musical director from 2011 to 2017. Across the 12 tracks of the album, recorded and mixed by himself, Yarol primarily revisits his favorite period of Johnny's career: the late 60s and early 70s, when musicians like Jimmy Page, Peter Frampton, and Mick Jones accompanied him in the studio. The tracklist includes some songs we all know ("Fils de personne," "Le pénitencier," "Hey Joe"...), others less famous ("Réclamations," "À tout casser"...), but also classics ("Elle est terrible," "O Carole"...).
