This vinyl record brings together two EPs: *Minute*, released in 2023, and *Instant*, due out on April 18. *Minute* includes the eponymous title track, synchronized in Artus's film *Un petit truc en plus*, as well as "Dancing in the Ring," which is approaching one million streams, confirming the enthusiasm for Xavier Polycarpe's musical universe. With *Instant*, he explores a rich and nuanced musical diversity, blending synthetic sounds and organic textures. Each track captures a precise moment, evoking universal themes such as heartbreak, renewed love, or our relationship with the world. True to his approach, Xavier Polycarpe crafts a hybrid and vibrant sound, carried by a voice that is alternately warm, raspy, impactful, or intimate. Recorded partly on tape in his home studio, *Instant* retains a raw spontaneity that marks the authenticity of his productions. Xavier Polycarpe's music is a journey, a playground where instinct, passion, and sincerity intertwine. A multi-instrumentalist and producer, he first made a name for himself with Gush, a rock band with two remarkable albums, a nomination for the Victoires de la Musique awards, and international tours. Then, with Macadam Crocodile, he embraced a rawer and more danceable energy, with electro-disco sounds, driven by electrifying live performances.
