Xavier Boyer, the singer of Tahiti 80 and one of the most distinctive voices in French independent pop, returns solo with a new melodic and timeless EP titled "Soda Coda". After "Tutu To Tango" (2007, under the pseudonym Axe Riverboy), "Some/Any/New" (2017), and not forgetting the nine studio albums by Tahiti 80, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, Xavier Boyer composed five new songs navigating between soft rock, folk sounds and pop experiments.It is surrounded by three emblematic figures of the French scene, Mehdi Zannad (Fugu, April March, A Girl Called Eddy) on keyboards, Laurent Blot (Le Superhomard) on drums and Stéphane Laporte (Domotic, Egyptology) on mixing, that this mini-album, whose vinyl edition will include five alternative versions recorded on a 4-track cassette, came to life.
